The Titans got through round 1 of the NRL suffering only a narrow 2 point loss to a Sharks side which was high on emotion following the events of recent weeks. Unlike the Sharks, the Titans were playing in the NRL for the first time with some new combinations but ultimately they worked very well. With a run under their belt, round 2 should prove to be a lot easier for the Gold Coast side to get their combos in motion as they take on the Canberra Raiders who have been embroiled in controversy this week which has resulted in two players being dropped from the side for this week's game.
Add to that it's the Titans first game in front of their home crowd and they will be raring to go.
