South Sydney at this time last year were a new side in terms of new players and new combinations. A year on and they have the same stars with some new additions and combinations that have now been well tried and tested, none more so than the experiment which saw Greg Inglis move to fullback which yielded instant results early in 2012.
Whilst I don't take too much out of trial games, the Rabbitohs did look very well drilled in their Charity shield match against the Dragons by simply getting the basics right; something which other teams don't get on top of until rounds 2 and 3.
