I had high hopes for Everton heading into this season given Carlo Ancelotti’s acquisitions during the summer and James Rodriguez & Allan, both of whom played under Ancelotti previously, gave the side an immediate boost in their away win over Tottenham last week. The win broke an 11-game losing streak away against Tottenham, making it something they hadn’t achieved since 2008. West Brom, in contrast, suffered a demoralising 0-3 home defeat to Leicester in their first fixture since winning promotion. The Baggies only achieved one shot on target and this week doesn’t get any easier.
