Fixtures between two relegation contenders are often tight, low scoring encounters. We've already seen Burnley involved in a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace and Sunderland recently lost 1-0 to QPR.

Burnley have only scored once so far this campaign but defensively they've been strong, conceding only one goal in their last three fixtures. Only one fixture this season has gone over 1.5 goals for Burnley and that was against the high-flying Chelsea.

Sunderland did score two goals in their opening away fixture against West Brom, but they were held scoreless by a poor QPR outfit at Loftus Road a few weeks ago.

With an under 1.5 result definitely on the cards, I would take the under 2.5 here.
